Throughout history we have had some pretty amazing Masters that have created works of art that are still cherished and admired to this day. Wouldn’t it be great to have one of these images, hand painted, by YOU to hang in your home!! Come and learn a bit of history, some old masters painting techniques and join Holly McWIlliams for this workshop. We will paint a version of one of the most beautiful paintings from history, La Scapigliata by Leonard Da Vinci with a focus on learning how to do a Grisaille (pronounced like Versailles) - an underpainting oil technique in which a composition is constructed completely in monochromatic color. This class is for oil painters; paint and canvas are included but check out the supply list for brushes and some other odds and ends. This class is for everyone! Beginners, intermediate and advanced painters welcome!
