I am pleased to announce my new upcoming art show at Framed on fifth in Kensington, Calgary, AB!

Oh man, I have been working hard and have 30 paintings to show off this June! This year I will be featuring three different bodies of work of mine. The Dream Scape, my Crow and Raven Series and also a whole swack of new colorful bold floral paintings (the outcome of our very long winter this year, I felt like everyone needed a little color in their life ;)

This year’s show is entitled Awakening, in honor of spring blooming around us and also reflecting on a deeper aspect of ourselves through the Dream Scape, Crows and Raven’s. A two day breakdown of how to mix proper skin color’s! Learn Holly’s tried and true system of identifying and creating lush, beautiful skin in your work. Learn the properties that make skin believable. Open to acrylic and oil.

My monthly regular class program will be ending for the year in June and then starting up again in September. If you don’t want to have the 2 summer months off, or if you are a new student wanting to try an art class and finally have time this summer, I will be offering 2 classes a week.

Work in your favorite medium – oils, acrylics, pastels, drawing etc, or even a different medium each class. Classes are small and I will spend time with each student demonstrating and explaining the principles particular to the specific medium.
