A two day breakdown of how to mix proper skin color’s! Learn Holly’s tried and true system of identifying and creating lush, beautiful skin in your work. Learn the properties that make skin believable. Open to acrylic and oil.

My monthly regular class program will be ending for the year in June and then starting up again in September. If you don’t want to have the 2 summer months off, or if you are a new student wanting to try an art class and finally have time this summer, I will be offering 2 classes a week.

Work in your favorite medium – oils, acrylics, pastels, drawing etc, or even a different medium each class. Classes are small and I will spend time with each student demonstrating and explaining the principles particular to the specific medium.

Drawing people can be intimidating, but once you know a few secrets it can be much easier. Working from the live nude model, gain a better understanding of the elements that make up the human form and how to portray them. Learning how to see the figure properly learn how to describe them by using  simple gestural sketches with playful lines then move on to longer poses with a tad more time that will allow you to develop your style. We will explore all the fun of different kinds of materials and try out various shading techniques.  Total beginners welcome.
